Our Lady of Guadalupe, Mystical Rose, make intercession for our Holy Church, protect the Sovereign Pontiff, help all those who invoke you in their necessities, and since you are the Ever Virgin Mary and Mother of the True God, obtain for us from your Most Holy Son the grace of keeping our faith, of sweet hope in the midst of the bitterness of life, of burning charity, and the precious gift of final perseverance. Amen.

Hail, Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.

Our Father, Who art in heaven, 
Hallowed be Thy Name. 
Thy Kingdom come. 
Thy Will be done, 
on earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread. 
And forgive us our trespasses, 
as we forgive those who trespass against us.  And lead us not into temptation,

Remember, O most gracious Virgin of Guadalupe, that in thy apparition on the Mount of Tepeyac, thou didst promise to show thy compassion and pity toward all who, loving and trusting thee, seek thy help and call upon thee in their necessities and afflictions; to hear our supplications, to dry our tears, and to give us consolation and relief. Inspired by this confidence, we come before thy presence, certain that thou wilt fulfill thy merciful promises. Standing beneath thy protection, may nothing trouble or afflict us. Thou hast desired to remain with us through thy miraculous image, for thou art our Mother, our health, and our life. O Mary, Mother of God, hear our petitions and, in thy mercy, answer us. Amen.

1. First Apparition

Our Lady appears to St. Juan Diego on Tepeyac Hill and asks that a church be built in her honor, so that all who seek her may experience her love and intercession.

2. Second Apparition

After the bishop asks for proof, Juan Diego returns discouraged. Our Lady gently encourages him and tells him to go back with confidence.

3. Third Apparition

Our Lady promises to give Juan Diego a miraculous sign that will convince the bishop of her request.

4. Fourth Apparition

Our Lady instructs Juan Diego to gather roses blooming miraculously in winter. When he opens his tilma before the bishop, the roses fall to the ground, revealing the miraculous image of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
